About the Designs

  • Bite Back. A snarling fox, representing the fierce and adaptive nature of a vixen—a fox known for its agility, cunning, and strength. Bite Back encourages you to dig deep, stand your ground, and fight through any obstacles life throws your way. Whether you’re battling inner struggles or external hardships, this piece serves as a call to embrace your strength and overcome with relentless determination.

  • Yokai. A striking Oni mask, symbolizing the duality of human nature—where beauty and darkness coexist. The design reflects the hidden battles we all face and the complexity of inner struggles. Challenges we face, whether internal or external, can be deceptive in their allure. This piece encourages reflection on the power of confronting those demons with caution, resilience, and self-awareness. Walk your path with intention and care.

  • Forever. This design features the skeleton of a swan, a symbol of romance and loyalty, now stripped to its bare essence. This design reflects the bittersweet truth that while love may be promised to last forever, reality doesn't always align with those hopes. It serves as a reminder to honor your promises, but not at the expense of yourself if the other person fails to uphold theirs. Above all, it encourages you to love fiercely and authentically, knowing that true love requires mutual effort and integrity.

  • Afterglow. The Afterglow design captures the warmth of cherished moments. It’s a reflection of those beautiful memories—sitting around a bonfire, surrounded by nature, under a clear night sky. The simple joy found in these fleeting yet meaningful experiences. It serves as a tribute to those quiet, soulful moments that stay with you long after the fire dies down.

  • Prevail. A hand reaching upward from the depths of hell, flames coiling around the arm as it struggles to escape. This symbolizes the fight to overcome personal demons and rise above the darkest moments. No matter how deep you’ve fallen, there is always a way out if you keep climbing.

  • Heart of Gold. The dragon represents powerful transformation and courage, while the text conveys a refusal to be defeated by adversity. The Japanese symbols "バラの花," translate to "rose flower." Roses in Japanese culture symbolize love, beauty, and passion. The integration of the rose adds a touch of beauty and love amidst the ferocity, symbolizing a balance between a soft heart and unyielding fire.

  • Ronin. Crossed katana swords symbolize discipline, honor, and the fight against inner struggles. "Defeat Your Demons" serves as a call to face personal challenges with strength and perseverance. The red and black tones, along with the burning cross motif, emphasize intensity, resilience, and the determination to overcome adversity.

About the Charities

Postpartum Support International

1 in 7 women experience postpartum depression, yet the mental health struggles that follow childbirth often go unspoken. Postpartum Support International (PSI) works to change this by offering critical resources, education, and support to those affected by perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).

PSI’s mission is to increase awareness around conditions like postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, and psychosis—disorders that impact not only mothers but also 1 in 10 fathers. The transition to parenthood can be overwhelming for both parents, leaving many feeling isolated or overwhelmed.

Through a global network, PSI provides online support groups, a helpline, and professional training to healthcare providers, ensuring that families get the care they need. Their work is essential in breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in parenthood, fostering early interventions, and helping families thrive.

To Write Love on Her Arms

Every 40 seconds, someone dies by suicide worldwide—a sobering reminder of the mental health crisis we face. To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to providing hope and support to those struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and thoughts of suicide.

TWLOHA's mission is to connect individuals to mental health resources, raise awareness, and break the stigma surrounding mental illness. Through storytelling, social campaigns, and events, the organization encourages people to seek help and reminds them they are not alone. TWLOHA also offers financial assistance for counseling, making therapy accessible to those in need.

Mental health doesn’t discriminate—it affects people of all genders, ages, and backgrounds. TWLOHA fosters a message of community and empowerment, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their journey, knows that hope is real, help is available, and recovery is possible.

About the Founder

After spending what seemed a perfect decade with someone I had known since middle school, my life took an unexpected turn as my husband at the time decided to choose drugs, lies, and violence over the promises he had made. I faced unimaginable hurdles while also navigating the challenges of being a new mother with Postpartum depression. In my darkest moments, I have always found solace in creating art and stepping into the gym—two things that slowly helped me piece my life back together.

Today, I have built a beautiful new life and a lovely family. Each day I strive to find happiness at every opportunity. I vividly remember crawling out of the deep, dark hole my mind had taken me. It was excruciatingly hard and I had gotten very close to giving up. Through my brand, I want to remind you that no matter how horrendous life’s challenges may be, even the smallest steps toward healing are worth it. I hope that VXN Crew inspires you to move forward no matter how dark it may seem.

Your story isn't over.

Sincerely,
Samantha
